Linux x86/i960-rtems Development Toolset Binaries (Debian Format)


The files are divided into categories based on the likelihood that you as a user will require them. You must download and install the packages designated as:

  • REQUIRED to indicate that you need them to build RTEMS itself.
  • LIKELY TO BE REQUIRED to indicate that these are likely to be required by many users of i960-rtems but there known and reasonable cases where they may not be needed.
  • UNLIKELY TO BE REQUIRED to indicate that these are unlikely to be required by many users of i960-rtems. These packages are not required to build or use RTEMS but may be needed for certain applications. For example, most users will not program in either Objective-C or Chill and there is no point in installing it or downloading those packages unless you require them.
  • The md5 checksums are available for these files so you can verify that the file you downloaded matches the file on this site.

  • LIKELY TO BE REQUIRED:

    The following packages are likely to be required but may not be necessary or appropriate for your environment. For example, the m68k-rtems prebuilt gdb does not include BDM support.

  • GDB

  • UNLIKELY TO BE REQUIRED:

    At this time, the secondary languages cannot be built for i960-rtems.
